About
Wreh-asha is a Nottingham born actress, she trained at Identity School of Acting in London.
Wreh-asha featured in Harry Potter & The Cursed Child cast member, performing in the ensemble and as cover Hermione Granger-Weasley.
She debuted in The Lion King in London's West End, featuring as both comedic Shenzi and the matriarch Sarabi.
As an independent artist, Wreh-asha wrote, co-produced and released the soulful EP ‘Classic’. The single 'Classic' from the EP made a strong impact, receiving BBC Radio airplay, as well as featuring in the US Bravo series 'Girlfriends Guide To Divorce' and Oprah Winfrey's 'Queen Sugar' (OWN). Performances as an independent artist include featuring at the renowned festival Glastonbury.
Off stage, Wreh-asha is an advocate for Special Educational Needs and Mental Health, with qualifications and experience in SEN and Child and Youth Development. Wreh-asha maintains an interest in wellbeing, particularly for children and marginalised groups. So much so that while acting professionally, she completed her degree with a focus on psychology.
